Mysore Infosys and bus stand

Mysore, the city of palaces is also the cultural capital of Karnataka, India. the city is world famous for its unique palaces which make it one of the most visited urban city of southern India. Situated near the Silicon Valley of India Bangalore, Mysore enjoys tourism as well technology side by side. After Bangalore, Mysore is the biggest city of Karnataka and is the head of Mysore district and Mysore division. Until, independence Mysore was also the capital of Mysore kingdom.



Mysore is famous for the Infosys campus developed in the city. There is a big Infosys campus developed just outside city and it is the biggest IT training center in the world. The buildings present in the campus are present in such a shape that it forms shape of INFOSYS, if observed from top view. The training center provides facilities like theatre, auditorium, gym, library, hostel for students, training and teaching center. This biggest IT training center in the world has a capacity of accommodating 14,000 students at a time.



Mysore infosys campus is located 8 km away from city Mysore. A regular number of buses travel from mysore city to the campus. If you are having issues with travelling in the bus then travelling in auto’s can also be opted. Auto-wale’s charge nominally, so there is nothing to worry. Although travelling via bus is a better option because buses take you directly inside the campus.



In terms of transport, mysore is having decent transport facility. Mysore city has a airport and one flight by Spice jet airlines commences from Mysore and Via B’lore it reaches Chennai. For rail and roadways transportation one can go Indian railways and MSRTC buses. In terms of railways, the city is connected to almost all major parts of the country. Some of those cities are Mumbai, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram and many more. Via roadways the city is connected to many important cities of southern India.
