Dalhousie is the very beautiful hill station located in the Himachal Pradesh which is the northern state of India. It is the very beautiful place which is named after the British governor Lord Dalhousie. It is the quiet hill station. It is the best place for those who want like the quiet, serene atmosphere. It is an ideal place for honeymooners and for long walks picnics and treks. It is located at a height of 9000 feet.


This beautiful destination was founded by Lord Dalhousie in 1854, its unspoiled beauty and peaceful atmosphere didn't fail to enchant him. British used to visit this hill station for their summer vacations.
This place has pleasant weather throughout the year because of which it is mostly visited by the tourists.


The bungalows here are all made in the English style. The modern town is situated among the five hills, facing the Pir Panjal range of snow-capped and pristine mountains, surrounded by thick forests of pine and deodar trees. This place is usually warm in the morning and afternoon in June- July; it gets cold early in the evening while it’s quite cold at the night.


It is not recommended for people who want discos, malls and multiplexes. While there is plenty to do, see and experience, Dalhousie exudes an old-world charm and it seems like it hasn't quite caught up with the rest of the world yet. It is tourist favourite place and one of the renowned places in Himachal Pradesh.


As it is the very beautiful place it always drew swamp of tourists that increases demand for hotels and lodges in Dalhousie. There are many hotels in Dalhousie that ranges from 5 stars to budget. Each and every hotel in Dalhousie provides all the basic amenities.
